ACER is consulting on a framework guideline for flexibility
The purpose of the framework guideline is to make it easier for consumers and prosumers to participate more actively in the power market. An ordinary consumer will, for example, be able to offer Statnett (the national TSO in Norway) or the local DSO to switch off EV charging or the water heater during constrained power situations and get paid for this service. In the long run, this will also contribute to a more efficient and stable operation of the power system.
More information can be found on ACER’s website here.
Involved parties are encouraged to provide feedback on the consultation. The deadline for statements is 2 August 2022.
A workshop will also be arranged on 28 June 2022. More information on the subject can be found on ACER's website here (deadline for registration is 26 June 2022).
