CEER Report on regulatory frameworks for European energy networks
The Norwegian Energy Regulatory Authority (RME) has contributed towards a report that describes regulatory frameworks within the energy sector in EU Member States, Iceland and Norway. This is an annual report, published on CEER’s website. CEER is a platform for cooperation and information exchange between independent energy regulators of Europe.
The report provides an overview of European energy (electricity and gas) network regulatory regimes in 2019, including required efficiency developments, analyses of the costs of capital, and regulatory asset base and depreciation methodologies. New in the 2019 report, is Annex 4 on Case Studies. Austria, Germany, Lithuania and The Netherlands have supplied a more detailed description of their regulatory frameworks this year.
