Energy regulators seek to enable digitalisation in the interest of consumers
The Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER) has launched a public consultation on its report ‘Dynamic regulation to enable digitalisation of the energy system’.
The report examines the implications of digitalisation for the energy sector and consumers in particular. In essence, the aim of digitalisation is to provide efficiency and value for consumers and facilitate flexibility within the energy sector through more use of data, whilst at the same time protecting against risks and avoiding a digital divide.
Please read the report found on CEER’s website and give feedback on the regulatory proposals by 14 May 2019.
