NordREG has published recommendations to improve consumer rights
NordREG (The Nordic energy regulators) has published 21 recommendations to improve consumer rights in the electricity market. It is, however, the national legislators in the Nordic countries that decide if and how the recommendations will be implemented.
The recommendations cover a range of issues: contractual rights, termination fees when a consumer switches supplier, price comparison tools for electricity supply contracts and billing information.
NordREG’s goal is a harmonised Nordic electricity market for the good of the consumers. The recommendations can be found on the NordREG website here external site).
