NordREG’s Network Regulation Working Group (WG) has published a Report on Electricity Distribution Tariffs
In the Report on Electricity Distribution Tariffs, the Network Regulation WG focuses on how tariffs should be designed to stimulate efficient market utilization. The overall objective is not just to give customers correct price signals through the distribution tariff, but also to get customers to react to the price signals they receive.
This report provides an updated view on tariff design in the Nordic countries, presents some main arguments and an academic perspective on cost-reflective tariffs, as well as describing the principal challenges for customers. Here, the Network Regulation WG digs into questions about how household customers can be affected by changes in the tariff design.
